Last friday was the soft release of CoinFi’s open beta. It’s an initial framework that we’ll be building on in the weeks and months to come.
Since we already had an extensive overview of the beta release and upcoming features, this week’s update will focus mostly on a couple of housekeeping topics.

Crowdsourced Submissions & Voting Engine
A major part of the CoinFi vision is to leverage crowdsourcing via the COFI token in order to create a superior market intelligence platform.
While the crowdsourcing feature wasn’t a part of the initial beta release, its something we’re working on for future updates. Current target for this feature release is end of Q2/early Q3.
Weekly Progress Updates Will Become Monthly Updates
Prior to our beta launch, frequent weekly updates were a necessity to keep the community updated on what the team was up to behind the scenes.
While we’re still going to be filling you in on the behind the scenes action here at CoinFi, now that we have a live product, we’ll be rolling out a lot more features directly to production. Instead of forcing a weekly update cadence, we’ll be sharing these updates as they happen.
Going forward, this weekly progress update will become a monthly update that will go out on the 1st of every month. In between monthly updates, we’ll make announcements as we roll out new features and forge new partnerships.
